About two years ago I was doing f45 training and was looking for something with a little heavier weights and a little competition. There is only one Crossfit box around our hometown so I decided to give it a try and was immediately hooked!

If I never had to do this one exercise ever again, it would be awesome

Lungster (don’t know if this is even a real exercise or not, thanks Mark Travis ha!)

If I had to makeup my own WOD, it would be

I would have to say Wall Balls, Muscle-ups, and Rowing calories probably in a 21-15-9 format.

Tell us a little about yourself

I come from a family of five with an older brother and a younger sister. We were born and raised in South Dakota and moved to Ohio when I was in the sixth grade. I attended the University of Cincinnati for undergrad and majored in Biology. I am going to be starting Chiropractic school in October at Life University in Marietta, GA. A few of my favorite hobbies include golfing, fishing, hiking, and really anything sports related!

My proudest accomplishment thus far is winning a state championship in football my senior year of high school.

Favorite cheat/indulgence?

My favorite cheat meal would most likely be wings and pizza. My favorite cheat food by itself would definitely be ice cream.

What is your favorite music to workout to?

Hip hop & R&B

What I love about Bear Canyon Crossfit?

There are so many things that I love about Bear Canyon! First and foremost would have to be the community! Brittany and I were very nervous when we first moved across the states and joining Bear Canyon was the best decision that we made. The people have made us feel like family from the beginning and it’s going to make moving so much harder! Second, the cleanliness of the gym has always impressed me, as we know Crossfit gyms can tend to be quite dirty. Lastly, the coaching and programing has put some other boxes that I have been a part of to shame.
