How I was introduced to CrossFit: I’ve always been involved in athletics and fitness. I watched some of the 2015 Crossfit Games on TV and was really intrigued. In the fall of 2015 they opened a crossfit facility at my place of work so I took a class and was immediately hooked. 

Tell us a little about yourself (family, job, hobbies, etc):
I have 2 sons Rider(13) and Isaac (10) and a husband (Jon). 
I have been a personal trainer/coach for 16 years. I’m very passionate about showing people the benefit of movement in all aspects of life.

My proudest accomplishment is (doesn’t have to be CF related):
Umm…going through 2 childbirths! First one was long but I had drugs to help; the second on was fast but very …well let’s just say…awakening 
I’m blessed by my kids !

My favorite cheat meal/food is: Well I could think of a lot… I always have a little something sweet every day! For a big meal probably pizza with Dion’s ranch.

What is your favorite song to workout to?: I like it all! I’m digging 90s music lately.

If I never had to do this one exercise ever again, I would be awesome: Double Unders but I’m getting better at them.

If I had to makeup my own WOD, it would be: It would start off with a good warmup of tag (I’m always asking the coaches to do that)!

What I love about Bear Canyon Crossfit:
 Well everyone is very friendly and chill but when it’s time to workout we get after it! I love the expertise from the coaches and the push to challenge myself.  From coaches to members it’s a great place to train!
